Once the initial renovations are in place, operating and sustaining the expanded facilities will require additional staff, resources and technology upgrades. Perhaps even more importantly, our growing presence in a vibrant and diverse neighborhood in the nation's capital will present us with both new opportunities and new obligations. With this in mind, the Board is planning a second, ongoing capital campaign, the Building it Forward Fund, to raise $10 million in perpetuity. These funds will allow our community to continue its mission in four essential areas:
 

• To play a vital role in the spiritual care of the faithful of Italian origin and the larger church family

• To promote and preserve Italian-American heritage for future generations in the greater Washington, D.C. area

• To expand cross-cultural dialogue and serve as a point of encounter in an increasingly diverse and complex society, and

• To respond to the needs of the immigrant community and people on the move. 
   

There are many ways to participate in the Building it Forward Fund. Contributions can be made in single pledges or through annual, planned and legacy giving. There will also be naming opportunities for spaces and programs.
