Acrylic Landscape Painting Class

Bring a photo of your favorite place in Italy (or your favorite place anywhere) and create a beautiful landscape painting. Richard Fanelli will lead you through his step-by-step technique. There are three class sessions: April 6, April 13, and April 27.  These sessions build on each other: painting the line drawing on canvas; adding color tones and details; applying final touches and ending with a group discussion. Individual attention throughout.  Fanelli is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Arts (now the University of the Arts), and has studied under nationally-known artists. His work is represented in the Italian American Museum of Washington DC. 

Material list to be provided by instructor.  Approximate cost of materials $50
