The Italian Legacy Lecture Series, launched in 2022, seeks to engage in Italian and Italian Americans on our respective legacies  in the United States. On April 5, 2025, the lecture series was renamed the Gaetano De Santis Italian Legacy Lecture in honor of the father of Anthony  "Tony" DeSantis, author of the book "The Stowaway in First Class, A true story of an Unforgettable Quest to Come to America."
