Join the directors, designers, and artists of Viva V.E.R.D.I. - The Promised End, along with a panel of luminaries from the fields of opera, Shakespearean theater, and the science of aging and the human brain, for a conversation on the themes of Verdi's monumental Requiem and the composer himself, Shakespeare's equally towering “King Lear” and its meditation on aging through grace and forgiveness, and the power of the arts in our physical, mental, and spiritual lives.
The evening features a public conversation on these topics led by In Series Artistic Director Timothy Nelson, varied musical performances, and an open Q & A session. Refreshments follow.
Dig ever deeper into the experience of music and creation through the first Director's Salon of the 2018-2019 r(E)volution! season.
Totally free of charge -- but reservations encouraged.
